Allegations that the 2019-nCoV coronavirus is a bioweapon are in the news as reports out of China worsen with skyrocketing numbers of infections and deaths, widening quarantines, the banning of funerals of coronavirus victims and requirements to rapidly cremate corpses, and even a report of a woman shot for trying to get through a quarantine roadblock.
Outside of mainland China, the Philippines and Hong Kong have reported their first deaths as other nations in Southeast Asia see rapid percentage increases in their reported infections.
Indian Scientists Report on Possible HIV-1 Connection
Researchers in India have discovered what to them appear to be HIV-1 virus (the virus usually blamed for AIDS) gene fragments in the 2019-nCoV virus. In their view, this is unlikely to have happened naturally.

We are currently witnessing a major epidemic caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). The evolution of 2019-nCoV remains elusive. We found 4 insertions in the spike glycoprotein (S) which are unique to the 2019-nCoV and are not present in other coronaviruses. Importantly, amino acid residues in all the 4 inserts have identity or similarity to those in the HIV1 gp120 or HIV-1 Gag. Interestingly, despite the inserts being discontinuous on the primary amino acid sequence, 3D-modelling of the 2019-nCoV suggests that they converge to constitute the receptor binding site. The finding of 4 unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV, all of which have identity /similarity to amino acid residues in key structural proteins of HIV-1 is unlikely to be fortuitous in nature. This work provides yet unknown insights on 2019-nCoV and sheds light on the evolution and pathogenicity of this virus with important implications for diagnosis of this virus.
Some are pointing to this as evidence the 2019-nCoV virus was engineered from a SARS-like coronavirus enhanced with HIV-1 glycoproteins to make it more infectious and a better bioweapon.

Based upon the discussion thread on the web page containing the paper, many scientists are discussing other avenues of investigation and possible explanations. The Indian scientists have withdrawn the paper and plan to examine the points being raised by others and publish a new version to address these comments.

The alternative news site Zero Hedge reported on the Indian coronavirus research and the Chinese scientist in charge of bat virus research in Wuhan.
After Zero Hedge posted links to its articles on Twitter, its account was quickly banned as Big Tech ramps up their censorship against independent media to include opinions, science and facts that might implicate China’s government in this viral pandemic. Twitter seems to be claiming that Zero Hedge publishing information on that lead scientist which was already public on a Wuhan Institute of Virology web page is somehow harassment or abuse.
Could Virus Pandemic Be Tied to Vaccine Development?
The video below contains a number of fascinating segments, among them an interview of scientist James Lyons-Weiler, PhD that starting about 23 minute and 10 seconds into the program. His work includes writing ’Ebola: an Evolving Story’ on the science and public policy regarding the Ebola virus and its epidemics.
Lyons-Weiler speculates that 2019-nCoV is the result of vaccine development. He points to the presence of “pShuttle-SN” gene fragments in the virus that indicate it is engineered.
These fragments resemble genetic artifacts present in a Chinese SARS vaccine virus patent.
He notes that China’s SARS vaccine experiments went poorly. Animals vaccinated died quickly upon exposure to the wild-type virus, much more rapidly than those not vaccinated.
CORONAVIRUS: WHAT THEY AREN’T TELLING YOU
He goes on to express concern that experimenting with such vaccines could cause grave results:
The disease progression of 2019-nCoV is consistent with those seen in animals and humans vaccinated against SARS and then challenged with re-infection. Thus, the hypothesis that 2019-nCoV is an experimental vaccine type must be seriously considered.

The available evidence most strongly supports that the 2019-NCoV virus is a vaccine strain of coronavirus either accidentally released from a laboratory accident, perhaps a laboratory researcher becoming infected with the virus while conducting animal experiments, or the Chinese were performing clinical studies of a Coronavirus vaccine in humans.

If the Chinese government has been conducting human trials against SARS, MERS, or other coronaviruses using recombined viruses, they may have made their citizens far more susceptible to acute respiratory distress syndrome upon infection with 2019-nCoV coronavirus.
If China has made its own population more susceptible to death by SARS-like coronaviruses via vaccine experiments, then the lethality outside of China should be lower.
This remains to be seen as the spread outside China is still early, it takes as much as 14 days for the infected to show symptoms, and still more time for those with severe symptoms to die.
Controversial Bioweapons Expert Weighs In
Francis Boyle, professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law, is the creator of the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 that was passed unanimously by Congress and signed by President George H.W. Bush. Boyle remains involved in bioweapons safety issues, and is author of the book Bioweapons and Terrorism.
Below is a recent interview in which Boyle explains his thinking that 2019-nCoV is a bioweapon and how China’s government and the WHO (World Health Organization), due in part to its affiliation with the Wuhan Institute of Virology BSL-4 lab, both are playing a cover-up of the origins of the virus and the threat it represents.
Bioweapons Expert: W.H.O. Is In On Biowarfare Weaponization Of Coronavirus
In the interview, he explains that the most likely explanation for the origins of 2019-nCoV is as a bioweapon that was accidentally released from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a BSL-4 (Biosecurity Level 4) lab located about 20 miles from the Huanan Seafood Market that China’s government has tried to use as a scapegoat for the epidemic.
As revealed in an early paper on the Wuhan coronavirus entitled Clinical features of patients infected with 2019 novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, the first patient had not been to that seafood market. Many others in the initial group of 41 patients also lacked connections to the market.
Boyle says China often tries to blame viral outbreaks on bats as a cover story for their bioweapons programs causing viral outbreaks, as they have done trying to blame the Wuhan coronavirus spread on bat soup in the Huanan Seafood Market.
There have been concerns expressed about China’s track record with SARS escaping its biotech labs, adding to the credibility that the Wuhan lab could be the source:

But worries surround the Chinese lab, too. The SARS virus has escaped from high-level containment facilities in Beijing multiple times, notes Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey. Tim Trevan, founder of CHROME Biosafety and Biosecurity Consulting in Damascus, Maryland, says that an open culture is important to keeping BSL-4 labs safe, and he questions how easy this will be in China, where society emphasizes hierarchy. “Diversity of viewpoint, flat structures where everyone feels free to speak up and openness of information are important,” he says.
Boyle points out that this new virus is infectious at up to about 6 feet, further than SARS, and that is the sort of enhancement engineered into bioweapons so they will be more effective at sickening populations.
Boyle says that vaccines for bioweapons are developed after the bioweapon itself. hus the seemingly competing theory that 2019-nCoV is the result of vaccine development may actually be quite compatible with a bioweapon origin.
He also contends the Indian scientists may have withdrawn their paper due to political pressure.
Boyle is controversial because of his views that the FBI helped cover up the facts of the 2001 anthrax attack against Congress in part to force the passage of the anti-American surveillance state legislation known as the USA Patriot Act:

“I believe the FBI knows exactly who was behind these terrorist anthrax attacks upon the United States Congress in the Fall of 2001, and that the culprits were US government-related scientists involved in a criminal US government biowarfare program,” Boyle said.
The anthrax attacks killed five people, including two postal workers, injured 17 others, and shut down the operations of the US Congress.
Boyle, a leading American authority on international law, said after the attacks he contacted senior FBI official Marion “Spike” Bowman, who handles counter-terrorism issues, and provided him with the names of the scientists working with anthrax. Boyle told Bowman the Ft. Detrick scientists were not to be trusted.
In addition to then destroying the anthrax, the FBI “retained every independent life-scientist it could locate as part of its fictitious investigation, and then swore them all to secrecy so that they cannot publicly comment on the investigation or give their expert opinion,” Boyle said.
Boyle pointed out that Bowman is the same FBI agent “who played a pivotal role in suppressing evidence which in turn prevented the issuance of a search warrant for the computer of Zacarias Moussaoui, the alleged 20th Al Qaeda hijacker on 11 September 2001, which might otherwise have led to foreknowledge and therefore prevention of those terrorist attacks in the first place.”
A self-confessed Al Qaeda operative, Moussaoui was detained on immigration three weeks before 9/11 when a Minnesota flight school reported he was acting suspiciously.
Boyle asked if Bowman received an FBI award in December 2002, for “exceptional performance” because of his capacity “to forestall investigations, because of where they may lead?” He went on to inquire, “Could the real culprits behind the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, and the immediately following terrorist anthrax attacks upon Congress ultimately prove to be the same people?”
